This project began through a collaboration with my longtime friend, the artist Fred Le Chevalier. Together, we created urban collages in Angoulême and Paris, during walks through the city by day and by night, placing works in public spaces and letting them interact with their surroundings.
Over the years, whenever time and circumstances allowed, we returned to this practice. Each intervention grew out of a shared moment and a particular place, resulting in temporary works that became part of the urban landscape for a short time.
Although I started this project with Fred, I now continue it on my own. Whenever I have the opportunity, I create new collages in the streets, following the same spontaneous and site-specific approach. More recently, I have been making interventions in London and Naples, adding new chapters to this ongoing exploration of the city through collage.
